AISSEE Sainik School Admission 2027-28: The Sainik Schools are managed by Sainik School Society (SSS) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2027 (AISSEE) is a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). This entrance exam is conducted to provide admission to classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools in India. Every year, thousands of aspiring students dream of securing admission to Sainik Schools. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release Sainik School Admission 2027 application form in month of September/October 2026. For admission to Sainik School Class 6, student age should be between 10 to 12 years and for class 9, required age limit is 13 to 15 years as of 31 March 2027.

- Class VI: Candidate should have passed Class V at the time of admission.
- Class IX: Student must be passed Class VIII from a government approved board at the time of admission.
Note: Students who are studying in Class V and Class VIII for session 2026-27, are eligible to apply for Sainik School Exam 2027.
Sainik School Entrance Exam Medium/ Language
The Sainik School Exam 2027 will be held in different languages. AISSEE Class 6 exam will be conducted in multi languages such as English/ Hindi or Local Language of the State, while AISSEE Class 9 exam will be organized in English Language only.

How to fill Sainik School Admission Form 2027?
A candidate can apply for AISSEE 2027 online only at NTA official website https://exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/. Steps to Apply Online for AISSEE 2027:
Step 1: Online AISSEE Registration Page
- The online registration is the first step of AISSEE application 2027. Candidates will have to visit NTA AISSEE official website (https://exams.nta.nic.in/) and click to “Apply Online” button for session 2027-28.
- After that, a new webpage will be opened. Please read all instructions and guidelines before to start the online registration. Click on the “New Registration” button for primary registration.
- Fill the required details such as Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, mobile number, email ID, complete address with pin code and provide one ID proof such as School ID Card, pan card, passport number or any other Photo Identity Card issued by Government of India.
- Complete the online registration part by providing all required details as per academic record.
Step 2: Fill in the Complete Application Form
- Candidates who completed Step 1, can proceed further by using the application number and password. Enter the required details in Sainik School application form 2027 such as educational qualification, age, and other required details.
Step 3: Choice of AISSEE Exam Cities
- Candidate should select any fourt cities of their choice for examination of AISSEE 2027. There is no restrictions in the choice of exam cities. There is no necessary that he/she should choose an same exam city in the State of Sainik School located.
- Exam centre allotment will be made by computer and there is no human interention.
Step 4: Uploading of scanned images
- Candidate’s Passport Size Photograph: Upload the recent passport size photograph should be size in JPG format and required size is 10kb to 200kb. The photograph should be taken on or after 01 July 2026 preferably indicating clearly name of candidate along with date of taking the photograph.
- Candidate’s Signature: Candidate should upload his or her full signature in running hand writing not in capital letter on white paper with black ink pen and should be sized between 10kb to 50kb in JPG foormat.
- Thumb Impression: Candidate should have to provide the left thumb impression on white paper with blue ink and sized between 10kb to 50kb in JPF format.
- Other Certificate Upload: Candidate should have to upload the scanned domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable) or service certificate as application and date of birth certificate in upload section. File size should be between 50kb to 300kb in PDF format.
Step 5: Payment of AISSEE Application Fee
- After completing the Online Application Form Step 2, candidates will have to make the payment of application fee by selecting Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI mode of payment.
- Take a printout of confirmation page after successfully payment of application fee. Generation of confirmation page confirms the final submission of Sainik School application form. If confirmation page has not been generated, this means that application form of AISSEE 2027 has not been submitted successfully.
